TFD established International Fellowship Program in 2003 and granted fellowships to scholars and practitioners abroad Taiwan who wish to pursue research related to Taiwan’s democracy and human rights, with the aim to highlight Taiwan’s democratic experience and to encourage democracy and human rights study.
To further strengthen visiting fellows’ linkage with Taiwan’s academics, President Fort Fu-Te Liao visited the Institute of Political Science at Academia Sinica on June 18, 2019 and signed the Memorandum of Understanding on International Fellowship Program with Dr. Tse-Kang Leng, Director of the IPSA. Both parties shared the goal of enhancing the value of fellow’s academic research and look forward to co-organizing speech and conferences on this basis.
